I’ve ordered several appliances online from Anson’s but this is the first time that they provided a “lemon” unit. The Sharp microwave+grill has a factory defect. The unit turns on automatically upon plugging to the power supply without activation by the “Start” button. I’ve filed a complaint and asked for a replacement unit which will be delivered soon. Hopefully, the replacement brand-new unit should be in good working condition without any defects.

We actually use the microwave to heat food, very seldom to defrost, not at all for cooking. Thus, we won’t be using most of its functions. For its price, the other functions are already bonus. We’ll see if we get to use the grill option.
