I use this in my small bedroom. When it’s not raining the room can be a bit hotter so I use my AC that has dehumidifier but on rainy days it’s very practical.

The unit decreases the humidity of my small studio unit well: I can feel the difference after a couple of minutes. I thought I would not care for the purifier, deodorizer, and laundry functions but during the recent rainy days, these functions were really handy. It’s also easy to clean. The manual is also great: helpful and clear, and informs you the basics of dehumidification. You can definitely hear its noise during its most active setting, but it’s a notch lower than a small AC’s noise output, and like AC noise, you do get used to it. If Sharp releases a small and cheaper version of this for shelves and cabinets, I’d definitely consider it. I wish it can with other colors but all in all, I’m satisfied with it. Consider getting one especially during promotions.
