The remote control’s reception is decent from a distance, but it only works if there’s no partition blocking it. If you’re in another room and you plan to turn on the aircon, it’s best to turn it on without any blockage. In terms of noise level, the aircon is fairly quiet even in its coldest setting. Sleeping with the aircon on isn’t disruptive.
