Full size plates will not fit in the until upright – they need to be at a angle. Also the machine’s heater broke within 30 days of being installed and the after sales support at Whirlpool is awful. Sending tech to my home without parts, telling me the part is out of stock, promising callbacks they don’t make, and keeping me on hold forever, my unit has been collecting dust for a week now and there is no timeline for it to be repaired. Go with another unit/brand.
